| 1. Read the Rules A key part of playing here at HPRPG.NET is to read and understand the rules. We have an ever growing community and in order to run a community of this size, you need rules. If you have questions about the rules, please visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section in order to clarify any rules you might be unsure of. I can not stress enough the importance of familarizing yourself with the rules!!! So please, for your own sake, read them! Rules Can Be Found Here! 2. Come up with a Character Name It is key to wait until you have read the rules before you create an account. The rules give specific guidelines on how to create an account, which is why we ask you to read them first! Once you create an account, you can move on and if you create it correctly, you will be able to start roleplaying sooner! If you need help coming up with a character name, feel free to use our Name Generator! 3. Fill out a Character Sheet And here we get to the real meat of the roleplay - your character's story. Please put thought into your character sheet! Show us you care enough about roleplaying here to put effort into the character as you first introduce them to the board. You can learn more about how to create a character from these links, which we strongly encourage you to read through before you post your character sheet. Register your account, post your character sheet, and wait for approval Approval can take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours. It can take even longer if you haven't read the rules, so please be sure to do that before filling out a character sheet. While you are waiting for approval, it's always a good idea to review the rules again, and you can begin interacting with other members via the out of character areas of the forum. Make sure you've read our rules so we don't have to delete your account! |
